Out with the old, in with the new. Hello 2020

2019 was a very busy year at Aquajet as we continued to attracted more new business and installed new state of the art machinery. We can now  cut up to 280mm thick and also reduce previous nasty draft angles due to our new machine’s taper compensation. We can also do 6-axis robot cutting using our new robot. South West import

Well it’s finally got too much for just 3 of us, so we have had to import some much need shop-floor labour. Coming all the way (originally) from the wonderful county of Devon is Jamie. His primary role is to run the robot cell, but other duties include Tea making and harassing Will & Martin at every opportunity. The new reception area takes shape

We have been busy improving the front of house for visitors so they can enjoy in safe clean surroundings the type of  work and materials we work with. Keeps them all safe away from dirty noisy machines and stops them getting wet. Next step is to have seating and improve the furniture and we’re about done.

Back in the groove

We are now well into the first month of 2013 and the workload is back to the busy pre Christmas level. Seems this year may be another good one. Since September last year we have had to take on temporary staff to assist with the workload and if things continue as they are 1 lucky person will get a full time position. Well it’s become silly season here as the workload has gone through the roof, so much so that we have had to take on temporary employment. So we are working flat out whilst all our customers seem to be off to Spain for 2 weeks. Enjoy the sun folks

New Machine!

AT LAST THE NEW MACHINE IS FULLY OPERATIONAL AND OUR CUTTING CAPACITY AND RESPONSE TIMES HAVE BEEN FURTHER IMPROVED.
